Important! On July 14, 2010, the Board of Nursing rescinded its previous motion that required EMT licensure for RNs practicing in pre-hospital care. This rescinded motion/board decision returns to the Dual Licensure Task Force. At this time, RNs may continue to practice in pre-hospital care without additional licensure. Competency is still required for RN to practice in any setting. Thank you to the RNs of Montana who responded and/or provided testimony.
