Invitation to Participate in Chronic Pain Curriculum Research Study
The Montana Nurses Association, in collaboration with 4PCP (Primary Practice Practitioner Program for Chronic Pain), is excited to invite you to participate in a unique research project to trial a curriculum designed to improve the care of this challenging population.
Research Study Opportunity: Impact of a Novel Community-Based Biobehavioral Chronic Pain Team Training Program (4PCP) on Practitioner and Patient Outcomes.
Participation Requirements: As part of this research project, you will be asked to:
- Complete education course requirements
- Complete surveys.
- Distribute flyers to eligible patients for study recruitment
Course Details: All sessions will be conducted via Zoom, including three lunch and learn Fundamentals sessions, an 8-hour live session, followed by three lunch and learn Mentoring sessions. Up to 30 hours of CME are available for participants. Attached, you will find a flyer with more information about the program. Tentative dates:
- Fundamentals 1:June 11, 2025, 12-12:45 MST
- Fundamentals 2:July 9, 2025, 12-12:30 MST
- Fundamentals 3:August 13, 2025, 12-12:30 MST
- 8-hour Course: September 12, 2025, 0700- 4:00 MST
- Mentorship 1: October 8, 2025, 12-12:30 MST
- Mentorship 2: November 12, 2025, 12-12:30 MST
- Mentorship 3: December 10, 2025, 12-12:30 MST
Cost: This research study is supported by a grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality – R01HS028630. There is no cost to participate.
